Der englische Auftragstext:
I’m sitting in the tram. My mood is depressed. It has been that way since half a year. Since my apartment burned down. I escaped without (physical) wounds, but emotional I was not the same as before. I was 19 and already two times I escaped death (the year before I had a car accident). I am thinking about what my mother said to me when she had a ‘depressive episode’. One time she saw this beautiful tree. Life couldn’t be that bad if something this beautiful exists. But where was MY tree?! I look outside and see an old man, out of breath, running behind a bicycle. The kid on the bike is very concentrated and has the tip of her tongue out of her mouth. This imaged striked me and gave me a warm feeling. Since then I could see the bright side of life again. Seeing the beauty in small things! |
